The Insecure Men have shared a new Niall Trask (The Kill Shop) directed video for track Cliff Has Left The Building. The Insecure Men are a collaboration of Fat White Family Guitarist Saul Adamczewski and ex-schoolmate and Childhood frontman Ben Romans-Hopcraft. Releasing their critically acclaimed, self titled album in February on Fat Possum, the record is influenced by the music of Denim, Go Kart Mozart, Lawrence and Felt and Exotica pioneer Arthur Lyman. Adamczewski describes their sound as “pretty music with a dark underbelly“.

The video is released ahead of their upcoming UK Tour, which includes appearances at End of The Road festival and London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall. The tour follows a highly successful run of shows in March that culminated in a sold-out show at London’s Scala. On Cliff Has Left The Building, Adamczewski states;

“I dreamt of having a romantic relationship with Cliff Richard. At first we wanted to use a look-alike but we couldn’t afford it, so we settled for any old man. And that’s what this is. Me having a romance wth some old man on a hill.”

The Insecure Men album has picked up stellar reviews reviews from the likes of the NME, Q and The Times. With both The Quietus and The Guardian naming the record Album of The Week. If you’re lucky enough to find yourself in the U.K., The Insecure Men will be playing live at;
