The Cheap Thrills release latest single, Smile When You Sleep

Smile When You Sleep is the latest single from Liverpool’s The Cheap Thrills and follows hot on the heels of their last banger Saint or Sinner. Crafting an irresistible blend of psychedelic space guitar and joyous synths with classic Merseypop sensibilities, The Cheap Thrills are combining a reputation for creating catchy sonic pop with a formidable live reputation.

”Smile when you sleep lists our problems with sleep in various different ways but I think it highlights the beauty of sleep too. It also questions how you feel sleeping with someone else as opposed to sleeping alone. It’s always about progression with songs for us. We want people to connect to these tunes and sing them back to us.”

With recent singles Saint Or Sinner, Codependance and Sentimentality gaining national play listing by Radio X’s John Kennedy and BBC6 legend Steve Lamacq, The Cheap Thrills have also found themselves featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds and Indie Lists. Fresh from a standout set at the When In Manchester Festival, the band are becoming a must see. With The Guardian proclaiming “they’re a blast live.” Keep an eye on these boys.
