Making a name as one of the U.K.’s most unique and innovative producers, Swindle had once again teamed up with Kojey Radical for new single Coming Home. The track follows up on the success of the pair’s previous collaboration, Water which has racked up over 1.3 million Spotify plays. Rapper, poet and artist Kojey Radical’s expressive style draws on grime, hip hope and the spoken word of Gil Scott Heron and The Last Poets. This joyous, horn laden track is both a statement of intent about where these two are heading, and a tribute to where they came from. Joined by Manchester’s party starting brass band Riot Jazz, the guitar comes courtesy of rising UK jazz virtuoso Mansur Brown.
Coming Home is the second single from Swindle’s ambitious forthcoming project No More Normal, which celebrates the connections that are formed through shared experience. Bringing together the stars of the UK’s black music scene, It follows Reach the Stars featuring Andrew Ashong, which has been getting plenty of airtime from Annie Mac, Gilles Peterson, Julie Adenuga and more.
Swindle’s third full length album, No More Normal is slated for release on Brownwood Recordings
