Slaves – Acts of Fear and Love

Slaves have announced their third album Acts of Fear and Love will be released August 17th. Together with the announcement, the Kent duo shared a tongue in cheek look at the making of the Album via Slaves TV.  The insight is a comical look at the punishing conditions Laurie and Issac had to endure under taskmaster producer Baby Bart Vincent.
The Album’s name comes a one of Issac’s old college teachers, telling him, “There is no such thing as hate, only acts of fear and love” the record will have “a more personal fear” feel and sees the band begin a collaboration with fashion and documentary photographer Juergen Teller

Slaves will be hitting the road to play a series of live dates at intimate venues in the UK before arriving in the US for an August festival date at Chicago’s Lollapalooza and a headline spot at Empty Bottle for the Lollapalooza after party. Slaves will then return September to play Crucial Fest in Salt Lake City and Cal Jam in San Bernardino October 6th.
