Estrons release striking and visceral video for Body

With the eagerly awaited release of debut album You Say I’m Too Much, I Say You’re Not Enough just around the corner. Estrons have released a personally brave and visually striking video to accompany the track Body. Following previous releases from the album Lilac and Cameras, Body features close ups of Tali Källström’s own, she said of the shoot:

“Shooting the video for Body was one of the most terrifying and liberating experiences of my entire life. For millenniums art has been used to set the paradigm for how our bodies should look. It suppresses us, it creates the unreachable which leads humanity into a pit of judgement, self denial and depression. This video is about studying the real. Celebrating yourself. Sexualising yourself, and letting go of the concept of “flaws” by flaunting who you really are.”

With a sound that is now instantly recognizable, the thunderous bass of Steffan Pringle and high power chords of Rhodri Daniel are wrapped in Källström’s distinctive vocal. Producing powerful, melodic tunes that pack a distinctive punch.

The October 5th album release will be the culmination of over two years hard touring that has seen them hone their singular sound. Estrons’ workmanlike approach to their craft has picked up a growing army of fans, considerable media attention and playlisting, as well as be hand picked by Garbage to accompany them on tour. They also don’t appear to be taking their foot of the gas anytime soon. With a winter tour schedule slated and their biggest headliner yet at London’s Scala on February 7th next year.

You Say I’m Too Much, I Say You’re Not Enough is released October 5th on The Orchard / Gofod Records and can be Pre-Ordered here.

  1. […] Body is sub-three minute rejection of the oppressive idealized physical standards that are foisted upon us by the media. It’s a tune that bristles with the infectious hooks that run through this album like a stick of rock. Sonic storm clouds gather for Jade, with the vocals carrying pure emotion. That emotive vocal carries through into Cameras. Written for Kali’s son, the song expresses her unbreakable love. One that burns in defiance of the challenges she’s faced to maintain custody as a single mother and musician. […]
